Building Materials Investments Limited (BMI Ltd) is an investment company established in 2009 with an aim of investing in manufacturing opportunities to meet the demands of Rwanda’s construction sector by establishing manufacturing plants that use locally available raw materials to produced finished building materials. Value addition to local raw materials and modern imported appropriate technologies are a crucial part of our strategy.
BMI Ltd investment philosophy is to partner with both local and foreign investors to not only raise investment capital, but also share working experience, efficient technologies, and skilled man power thus being able to make attractive returns on investments and build local technical capacity.
Raw materials of priority investment interest to BMI Ltd are; Limestone and Cement related raw materials, Clay and clay additives like Quartz, Feldspar and Kaolin, Granite, Marble, Iron, Silica and Silicates. BMI Ltd sole purpose is to convert these locally available raw materials into cement, Ceramic Tiles & Sanitary Ware, Glass, and Iron bars.
